 Dear Lord, this nation is being warned of Your coming judgment for our sin, wickedness, and rebellion. Help those who know Jesus to be courageous as they stand for You in these perilous times. Use them as beacons of Your light in the darkness of our world.

Though Your enemies surround them, though the world around them curses You, help them to stand for Your Truth that will ultimately defeat the lies of satan. May the evil of this world become so apparent, people will begin to bow their knee to You in repentance knowing YOU are their only hope and only answer! In the name of Jesus…AMEN!!!

For all of us, 2020 will be remembered as the year free speech was challenged in ways unheard of in this free nation; it has also been a time when communist type censorship became part of our landscape!

The communist government of China, a nation with approximately 1.4 BILLION people, controls 100% of the content their people can access, and even has a record of what each individual accesses.

Meanwhile, the people of Iran are rising up against those in power. That evil government has literally killed at least 1,000 protesters In an effort to control the mind of their population. How? One way being used by the government of Iran is literally turning off the internet so nobody outside the government can access the net.

Russia now has the capability to censor what website their people can access.

Why does this matter to people in the United States with the incredible freedoms we enjoy?

Please don’t be so naïve as to fail to realize the freedoms you enjoy today can be taken away from you tomorrow, YES EVEN IN THE UNITED STATES!

Over 50% of the people in the US now get their news and information from the internet. Not TV, not radio, not by print...FROM THE INTERNET. That percentage is going to grow as the years roll on. A huge percentage of our population 30 years of age and under, get 100% of their news and information from social media sites and the internet.

THE CENSORSHIP BY BIG TECH AND THE CORPORATE MEDIA IN 2020 SHOULD CONCERN EVERY CHRISTIAN, SINCE TODAY IT IS POLITICAL SPEECH THEY DISAGREE WITH THAT IS CENSORED, TOMORROW IT WILL BE CHRISTIAN SPEECH WHICH THEY HATE!!!

Due to the fact the largest percentage of the last two generations have never been to church and aren't involved in homes that have a godly faith tradition, their thoughts from childhood and what they believe as the get older are being shaped largely by the news and information they are getting from social media and the internet!

The ability for Christians to reach the lost and hurting masses with the Truth of God’s Word and the hope and love of Jesus is getting more difficult. Social media sites can censor whatever they want, and target specific words.

What happens when they target the words Christian, Jesus, Bible, church?

What happens if we at some point get an administration that for “national security reasons” decides to restrict access to what website people can access? T

hose who follow Christ must know the truth and stand boldly for the truth that never changes. Government restrictions on access of the internet, censoring of content EXISTS TODAY. Now more than ever we need to press forward to insure we reach those who are lost and without the hope of Christ in their life.

The freedom in which we once were able to do that is starting to erode very fast!!!
