The WORD of GOD admonishes believers to "PRAY WITHOUT CEASING," I Thessalonians 5:16-18, and it appears these young people took the opportunity to pray and share their faith at a most unlikely time and place.
According to the story, they found themselves stranded due to bad weather along the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and used the opportunity to have an impromptu church service.
Because of the record-breaking snowstorm that's hit the East Coast of the United States this weekend, many church services must be canceled. May those whose regular weekly worship has been disrupted by the weather follow the example of these young people.
May we 'have
church' wherever we are, remembering that "WHERE TWO OR MORE ARE
GATHERED IN MY NAME, THERE AM I IN THE MIDST OF THEM." Matthew 18:20
The CHRIST who lives within you is always worthy of your worship and your praise. Don't let the weather stop you from glorifying HIM and lifting your hands and heart in praise to HIS HOLY NAME.

Amazing site from Pennsylvania. Dowling Catholic students stuck on the Pennsylvania Turnpike meet kids on the bus from Missouri. They have a priest. And create a snow altar for mass in the middle of this stand still. Very proud of all you Dowling Catholic students.
