Since 1776

Americans have fought and died for freedom since 1776.

The Revolutionary War was fought to assure that the people
of this land would not be taxed without representation.

The notion of their leaders being in an elite social strata was
intolerable to them.

The idea of redistribution of wealth was anathema to our
founding fathers.

What would they think of America today? What would they
think of the laws that have been passed by our legislators?

What would their estimation be of the decisions that have been
handed down by our Supreme Court?

What would they think of our President's assertions about America
as he has spoken to people around the world?

What would their opinion be of the choices of political parties to
represent them in the up-coming election...a communist, an
unindicted criminal, an outspoken businessman?

What would they think of the average American citizen who apparently
sees nothing wrong with a government that provides him shelter, fills
his belly, and treats his illnesses?

Would they lament that Americans of today seem willing to sacrifice their freedoms for the things that President Reagan observed are guaranteed to a prisoner or to a slave?

Guard your vote well, for if you use it foolishly, you will not have it to bequeath to your children.

Guard your vote well, lest Americans of today leave to the citizens of tomorrow the heritage of prisoners and slaves.
