Call to Fasting, Prayer, Humiliation before GOD March 16, 1776--Second Continental Congress:

"May we, with united hearts, confess and bewail our manifold sins and transgressions, and, by a sincere repentance and amendment of life, appease GOD'S righteous displeasure, and, through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, obtain His pardon and forgiveness."

LORD JESUS, we need YOUR "merits and mediation" today more than we ever have. Please intercede for us in the Throne Room of Heaven, call us to a sincere repentance from sin and amendment of our lives as we confess and bewail our manifold sins from hearts that love YOU and voices that cry out for YOUR mercy.

REVIVE US, DEAR JESUS, so we may again be worthy of YOUR manifold blessings. In YOUR matchless name we pray, JESUS. Amen.
