We can't always go where we want.
Perhaps we want to go abroad to study, but don't have the means to do so.
Perhaps we want an audience with the Pope but can't attain one.
Perhaps we want that job with the corner office but someone else got it.
Perhaps we want to be recognized for what we've achieved, but nobody notices.

In all the world, there is great opportunity for success and for
failure. Each of us has experienced our 'moment in the sun,' and each
of us has known our moments of disappointment.
But one thing we can all attain is an audience with JESUS. Yes, the ONE who is the KING OF kings and LORD of lords will never turn us away.
It doesn't matter who we are.
It doesn't matter what we've done.
Whether we are pleasing in HIS sight or whether we are unregenerate sinners, HE gives us access to HIS Throne Room of Mercy and Grace.
May each of us accept HIS wondrous invitation into HIS presence and may we there be transformed from our own righteousness, which is filthy rags and from our sin, which is forgiven into the lovely likeness of HIMSELF that HE desires us to become.
