JESUS loves you. HE has always loved you. HE loves you now. HE will love you forever.
HE has stated HIS love countless times in the BIBLE:
"Can a mother forget the child that she loves? They may forget, yet will I not forget you." Isaiah 49:15
"For GOD so loved the world, HE gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that
whosoever believes on HIM will have everlasting life." John 3:16
"I have loved you with an everlasting love." Jeremiah 31:3
"Love never fails." I Corinthians 13:8
Human love may fail. Human love may disappoint. But the love of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST will never fail.
When we have wandered off from HIM, when we have busily pursued our own agenda, when we have become so enmeshed in the things of time that eternity was of no concern to us, HE still waited, like the father of the prodigal son, for us to wend our way home.
And when we have found ourselves in JESUS, we will rest in the love that has been ours forever.
