The CHRIST we love and serve is not only our SAVIOR.
Oh, yes, HE came to earth 2000 years ago to redeem fallen man from the sin that had ensnared him, from the pit of hell that awaited him, from the godless eternity that engulfed him, but HE is so much more.
JESUS, the sinless, holy, perfect GOD-MAN, took the punishment of death that fallen man deserves so that fallen man will not have to die eternally.
And JESUS also "...borne our griefs and carried our sorrows." Isaiah 53:4
Those who weep, those who carry heavy burdens of distress and grief, may lay their heavy burdens at the feet of the ONE who has invited them to, "Cast all your cares upon JESUS, for HE cares for you." I Peter 5:7.
HIS HOLY WORD also tells us that it is "by HIS stripes, we are healed." Isaiah 53:5.
When we endure disease or disorder, or injury, we may turn to JESUS for healing because healing is part of the SALVATION PACKAGE.
When we stand in need, may we, "ASK IN FAITH, NOTHING WAVERING, FOR HE THAT WAVERS IS LIKE THE WAVES OF THE SEA, DRIVEN AND TOSSED; HE SHALL NOT RECEIVE..." James 1:6
GOD will not reward our faithlessness, HE will not reward our double-mindedness; but BY FAITH, we shall have that for which we ask.
"WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM, FOR THOSE WHO COME TO HIM MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS--AND THAT HE IS A REWARDER OF THOSE WHO DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM." Hebrews 11:6
