The news is glum.
The political horizon reveals the ascendancy of a candidate who, through decades on the political and governmental scene has evidenced corruption, deceit, ruthlessness and disdain for her own nation.
Yet, she leads in the polls. The citizens of our land, as famously stated, are "SLOUCHING TOWARD GOMORRAH."

Our textbooks are repositories of false information.
Our media is biased.
Our entertainment industry is profane.
Our industry is outsourced.
Our military is down-sized.
Our leaders are traitorous.
Yet our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST admonished that when evil is rampant, when hope seems lost, "when these things come to pass, look up and lift up your head, for your redemption draws near."
Dear JESUS, we ask YOU to look down with mercy upon our lost estate and to stir within the hearts of YOUR people to pray for revival, to beseech the HOLY SPIRIT of the LIVING GOD to move among us and to rise up strong within us.
We claim the POWER YOUR WORD says is resident within us--that "same power that raised YOU from the dead," according to Romans 8:11, and to allow the faith of YOUR people to stay the onslaught of evil that is washing over our land!
For the sake of our children and grandchildren, precious LORD, we ask YOU to hear our prayers and to heal our land. Send a revival--a THIRD GREAT AWAKENING--to bring this country that was placed at YOUR feet at its inception back to the GOD of our forefathers.
We ask that these UNITED STATES of AMERICA, which our nation's founders placed into YOUR hand will not be wrenched away from YOU! Don't allow YOUR ancient foe to steal away what was given to YOU.
We ask that the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA will rise once again to its CHRISTIAN HERITAGE.
We ask that the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA will bow again as individuals and as a people before JESUS--before JESUS and none other!
Let us exalt YOU before men so YOU may exalt our land among the nations of men.
We ask that YOUR GLORY may be manifested throughout the earth and redound through eternity.
