Confessing JESUS

Confessing JESUS by Brad Reichs

"If you confess Me before men I will confess you before My Father..."
-Jesus

As a last-ditch effort to "preach everywhere" I awkwardly blurted out the words, "Hey, man! Do you know JESUS?"

It started with the "tow-truck guy."

And I began to love others more than myself.

It was about a year ago that I stopped denying Jesus by saying the words, "Hey man, do you know Jesus?"

It turns out that publically confessing the name of Jesus changes everything! It changes the environment, it changes the atmosphere, it changes me!

Jesus. There's no other name, no other word like it. It's supernatural, and those who confess it without shame live life on a different plane.

Tuesday morning I was coming out of a hotel in Farmington, New Mexico when the Lord prompted me to ask the "motorcycle guy," "Hey man, do you know Jesus?"

Long story short, one thing led to another and the next night my daughter and I were given the opportunity for "significant ministry" at a church in Albuquerque (180 miles away) which just happened to be our next stop.

And I could tell of more ministry opportunities this week with Brian the waiter at Outback, Cindy the gym owner, Bev at the coffee shop, Butch at Staples and 98 year old Mack at Panera Bread.

All because of a willingness to invoke the name of Jesus.

"They went out and preached everywhere while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed." Mark 16:20

Apparently that's the way it works.
Try it for yourself.
