My Prayer

Our FATHER and our GOD, I thank YOU for the good people of this land. I thank YOU for the people who will be found in houses of worship today, who are upon their knees every day, who devour YOUR HOLY WORD and hide it within their hearts.

I ask YOU to look with favor upon these, YOUR people, who have put their trust and their hope in JESUS CHRIST, our SAVIOR and our LORD.

I remind YOU of the good and godly men, the founding fathers of this nation, who placed this country at YOUR feet at its inception. They anchored the law of this land, our Constitution, to YOUR HOLY BIBLE and the TRUTH contained within it. 

They were men of faith in JESUS, who came to give eternal freedom to men and they were resolved to give temporal and political freedom to men.

I ask YOU, dear and glorious LORD of all that exists that YOU hear the prayers of YOUR people for this land.

I ask that YOU not allow this nation that was placed at YOUR feet at its inception to be wrested from YOUR hand by unscrupulous men and women who care nothing for godliness or holiness but who care only for their own aggrandizement.

I ask that YOU hear the cries of YOUR people for a THIRD GREAT AWAKENING that will bring this country back to JESUS CHRIST, its FIRST LOVE.

I ask YOU to restore faith and hope and truth and love and salvation to this people--all that we might abide close to YOUR heart and that YOUR glory might reign over us.

It is in the mighty, matchless name of JESUS I pray. Amen.
