A dear woman of faith has said, "GOD doesn't always pay HIS debts on Tuesday."
It's true. HE doesn't have a prescription; HE doesn't have a formula; HE doesn't have a schedule for answering prayer.
The story of Joseph tells of a young man who dreamed of greatness but found himself instead, sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. From slavery, he went to prison. In the intervening years, the brash teenager who indeed foresaw the future but spoke without discretion, went from the dungeon to the palace of Pharaoh.
Are you in a dungeon of doubt and despair? Does it seem your supplication for help has vanished in a wisp of the wind?
Don't give up.
The WORD of GOD that cannot fail and cannot lie assures, "ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THOSE WHO LOVE GOD, TO THOSE WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE."
Do you have a promise from the HOLY ONE that is unfulfilled? Remember HIS WORD that cannot fail and cannot lie assures, "MY WORD, THAT GOES FORTH OUT OF MY MOUTH, WILL NOT RETURN TO ME VOID BUT SHALL ACCOMPLISH THAT WHICH I PLEASE AND PROSPER IN THE THING TO WHICH I SENT IT."
The Israelites in captivity in Egypt prayed for 400 years that they be set free from their bondage...and at the appointed time, they emerged into freedom, taking with them the treasure of their former captors.
The promise of a DELIVERER required patience in waiting. The prophets of old longed to see the SAVIOR come...and in the fullness of time, HE arrived exactly where the ancient prophecies said HE would be born, under the very circumstances that had been foretold.
The GOD you serve is faithful.
Trust HIM.
Don't give up.
