Injustice
Colin Kaepernick is both lauded and disdained for his refusal to stand for the National Anthem at the beginning of football games. Many other athletes are assuming his position.

Many fans who have a great affinity for the game are highly offended by the offense to the flag that athletes have chosen to express their outrage at social injustice.
Some fans refuse to ever watch football again. Others have lost their fervor for the game. Many continue to embrace the sport and to laud the athletes who have chosen to use this venue to express their concerns.
Nike, the sports giant, has apparently sided with Kaepernick.
My question is, "How can one side with the protesters against the one nation in the world that gives them the absolute right to protest?"
Though the cause may be just, is the method of protest just? Is it reasonable?
If we are "...one nation, under GOD, with LIBERTY and JUSTICE for ALL," should we not be pledging our allegiance to that nation? If we truly desire liberty, truly desire justice for all our citizens, are we not undermining our cause by undermining the nation that stands for our hope?
