HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOD'S great gifts flow toward HIS people all the time, but we sometimes tend to overlook them.
On one day a year--today--Thanksgiving--we pause to reflect upon the generosity of our great LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. Today, we lift up thankful hearts for all with which HE has blessed us.
Among the finest gifts HE lavishes upon us are these:
1. HIS great peace that passes understanding. It is the sense of calm well-being even in the face of severe trials because we know our GOD is a good GOD--all the time.
2. HIS amazing joy that is our strength. Joy is a difficult emotion to muster when life confronts us with great trials, but note it is HIS JOY that is our strength...it comes from outside ourselves and strengthens us beyond our own power.
3. HIS faith, that infinite quality that enables us to move mountains. Is your mountain way too high for you to climb? Well, no matter how high it looms on your horizon, your faith in the goodness and mercy of your CHRIST can move it out of your way and cast it into the midst of the sea.
4. HIS love that never fails. Has man's love failed you? Have people scorned your love and betrayed your trust? Fallen man is incapable of love that abides; fallen man has been deceived into believing that lust is love and conquest is power. GOD'S love has your best interest at the heart of all that happens to you and HE fully intends that "all things will work together for good to those who are called according to HIS purpose."
5. HIS SALVATION...THE SINLESS CHRIST, HANGING ON A CRUEL ROMAN CROSS, SCOURGED BY THE NOTORIOUS ROMAN "CAT OF NINE TAILS," PRAYING FOR YOU--"FATHER, FORGIVE THEM, THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO." THAT SINGULAR SALVATION, THAT UNSPEAKABLE GIFT, IS THE GREATEST TREASURE YOU WILL EVER POSSESS. BOW AT THE NAIL-SCARED FEET OF JESUS AND RECEIVE YOUR GIFT TODAY.
God bless you, dear Readers, and help you to lift your hands and lift your hearts in praise and thanks to HIS HOLY NAME.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
