LORD, we ask YOU to stop the invasion of our country.
We are not a nation of hard-hearted people. Our citizenry gives generously to the under-privileged in the world, including to the nations from which this hoard of invaders come.
How has the largess been spent? Is there corruption in the governments of these nations that prevents the use of these substantial monies in the behalf of the people?
If that is true, we ask YOU, LORD, to move upon the hearts of the leaders of these nations to wisely invest in the well-being of the people they lead. We ask YOU to move upon the criminal element that these people claim to flee and bring them to repentance before the CROSS.
We do not wish to bar these invaders from entry because we care nothing about them. NO! We wish to bar entry to these invaders because we care greatly about our own people and their safety.
This land that YOU have blessed from its inception has exchanged liberty for license and we have produced our own ranks of criminals. ..we must not allow entry to undocumented foreigners, many of whom come "to steal, kill, and destroy," just like YOUR ancient foe comes to do.
We pray that the wall, the military, good people who love this land and are true patriots, will stand against this army that comes to impose its failures and short comings upon our citizenry.
YOUR WORD tells us that we are to be "our brother's keeper," yet nowhere does YOU WORD compel us to sacrifice our children's inheritance to a hoard of strangers who demand to be taken under our wing.
We ask YOU, JESUS, to touch this convoluted situation and the people who have created it with a sense of their own responsibility to their nation, their countrymen, their children and themselves. We ask that they have the resolve to turn back to their own country with a fervency to right the wrongs there and to make their land one that is attractive and productive and prosperous and free.
In YOUR mighty, matchless name we pray, JESUS. Amen.
