Thanksgiving
Today is "elbow grease" day...roll the pie crusts, peal the potatoes, chop the vegetables...you're getting the prep work done so all you'll need to do tomorrow is wrap up the finishing touches to your work.
While you're investing yourself in this activity in the behalf of the friends and family who will join you around your Thanksgiving table, please take the time to prepare your heart for the opportunity you will have to share the true treasure you possess with those among you who may not know the CHRIST you love and serve.
Yes, the food will be wonderful, watching the competing football teams will be exciting, creating tomorrow's memories will be lovely, but if you haven't shared the glorious truth all mankind needs, your day of celebration will have been for naught.
Appropriate the holy boldness to speak forth the truth about the ONE who is deserving of all your thanks and praise. Be sure to make tomorrow--THANKSGIVING DAY--about the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
