"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."
An American missionary lost his life in attempting to fulfill that great commission.
Many count him to have been foolhardy, even criminal, in his act of defiance against the Indian government which helps to protect the remote, sequestered Sentinal Island tribe from contact with the outside world. Others count him as a martyr who lost his life in his desire to rescue the lost from eternal separation from God.
However he may be remembered, all must acknowledge that he was indeed a young man driven by what he believes.
How many of us have his boldness? How many of us would dare to knock on our neighbor's door to witness the salvation we have received through our loving JESUS/ How many of us would share the LORD'S "unspeakable gift" with a disinterested co-worker?
In our disdain of appearing foolish in the eyes of unbelievers, we are reluctant to broach the subject of eternity with them.
At which extreme do we find ourselves?
Do we boldly proclaim the salvation story to the lost?
Or do we gather quietly in our churches and share the good news only with each other?

What would the true CHRISTIAN do?
