Prayer from CHPP

 Prayer from CHPP

Are you frustrated with how so many Americans seem to have laid down and allowed tyranny to take over our land?

If so, I want to encourage you today—and invite you to pray with me for God’s warrior Spirit to once again be poured into  our hearts.

In these tumultuous times, it seems like the world has lost its collective mind. Nevertheless, we in the Body of Christ have the Solution: the Holy Spirit of God.

Just as Zerubbabel was tasked with rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, so in these times God has called each and every one of us—from our President to the state-house to the church-house to your house—to do what we can to rebuild America. We stand in a vital hour, when America will either heal and turn toward righteousness, or she will go down a path of tyranny from which we may never be able to recover.

God’s Holy Spirit is with us.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of might, who alone has the power to effect change. He is the Spirit of wisdom, who alone can guide governments and legislatures. He is the Spirit of liberty and freedom; He alone can inspire Americans to stand up and resist tyranny, such as we have not had to do since the Revolutionary War was won.

Never forget the Word of the Lord in Zechariah 4:6:

“So he answered and said to me: ‘This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

President Trump can fight, but only God can prevail. We can believe and pray, but only God can prevail. Our state governments and political parties can fight and contend, but only God can prevail.

In order to prevail, however, our God will use human vessels. He needs warriors to rise up and be His hands and feet on the earth.

Despite these agonizing times, would you link your faith with mine and join me in asking the Lord to pour out His Spirit of freedom and liberty upon us, as He did in 1776 when we officially declared our independence from Great Britain?

Will you ask Him to give us such passion for freedom that we, together with the founders of this great nation, will give our fame, our fortune, and our sacred honor to see liberty in this land?

Pray this with me:

Father God,

We come to you today to stand on the last line of defense for these United States of America.

Father, it feels as if the world has lost its mind. People say that right is wrong and wrong is right; that tyranny equals freedom and freedom, tyranny; that up is down and down is up. Father God, You and only You are the One who can reverse these travesties. You, and only You, are the One who makes all things new—who can heal and restore our land.

Abba Father, in order for every wrong to be made right in America, we know that “we the people” are going to have to fight against injustice, and Father, You are the only one who can help us do that.

In Jesus’ name we ask that You pour out the spirit of 1776 upon “we the people” of the United States of America!

We ask You to pour out Your warrior spirit upon us as You did upon King David, long before he ever became king. We ask that You would cause every American to rise up in righteous indignation and say “no”:

  • No to liberty-controlling rules;
  • No to tyranny;
  • No to election fraud;
  • No to government control of things that government has no business controlling in a free state.

Father, in Jesus’ name, please eliminate unjust rules and regulations that are meant to control people, rather than which have any basis in actually safeguarding people.

Father, we ask that You would bring us–“we the people”–back to common sense. . . .

Beloved intercessor, stand firm and stand strong. Continue to stand in the gap for the land. Choose to remain firm in faith, even when your emotions seek to betray you.

Let God our Father pour out His Spirit of freedom and liberty upon you, and refuse to settle until we see freedom and liberty in these United States again.

Objection to 2020 Electoral College Vote

U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) said recently that he will join several House Republicans in objecting to the 2020 Electoral College vote when the results are presented to Congress on January 6.

In a news release, Hawley said he will object “to highlight the failure of some states, including notably Pennsylvania, to follow their own election laws as well as the unprecedented interference of Big Tech monopolies in the election.”
The release said Hawley will “call for Congress to launch a full investigation of potential fraud and election irregularities and enact election integrity measures.”
In a segment airing on Saturday, U.S. Rep.-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) told The Kyle Olson Show that her colleagues will object to electors from six states.
If Hawley or other senators object to each one of those, that action will trigger a process in which each body will debate allegations of voter fraud and election irregularities in each one for two hours apiece, or up to 12 hours.
“Following both the 2004 and 2016 elections, Democrats in Congress objected during the certification of electoral votes in order to raise concerns about election integrity. They were praised by Democratic leadership and the media when they did,” Hawley said.
“And they were entitled to do so. But now those of us concerned about the integrity of this election are entitled to do the same,” he continued.
Hawley said he will follow in the footsteps of Democrats who objected to votes in the races in which President George W. Bush was reelected in 2004 and President Donald Trump was elected to his first term in 2016.
“I cannot vote to certify the electoral college results on January 6 without raising the fact that some states, particularly Pennsylvania, failed to follow their own state election laws,” Hawley declared.
“And I cannot vote to certify without pointing out the unprecedented effort of mega corporations, including Facebook and Twitter, to interfere in this election, in support of Joe Biden. At the very least, Congress should investigate allegations of voter fraud and adopt measures to secure the integrity of our elections. But Congress has so far failed to act,” he said. “For these reasons, I will follow the same practice Democrat members of Congress have in years past and object during the certification process on January 6 to raise these critical issues.”
The new Congress is scheduled to be sworn in on January 3.

Romans, Chapter 1

ROMANS 1

1Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
2(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
3Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
5By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
6Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
7To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
9For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
10Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
11For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
12That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
13Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
14I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
15So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Thoughts on Romans 12:1-2

Thoughts on Romans 12:1-2 by Charles Whitaker

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. (2) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
Paul refers to the new man in Colossians 3:10 as a man "renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him." "Renewed," translated here in the passive voice, comes from the Greek verb anakainoo. It means "to make new" in the sense of "to make different." The new man is different from the old one in that he bears the image of God!
Paul uses a similar verb in Ephesians 4:22-23, where he asks that "you . . . be renewed in the spirit of your mind." That Greek verb, ananeoo, again translated in the passive voice, means "to renew" or "to renovate." Through years of living Satan's way of life before conversion, our mind grows corrupt; even the best parts of it become "like filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6).
The apostle provides more details about this renewal process in Romans 12:1-2. Here, he uses the same phraseology—the renewal of a person's mind—in a context that makes his meaning crystal clear: "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
The noun "renewing" (anakainosis) is related to the verb anakainoo. Like anakainoo, it carries the sense of renovation to a different, rather than a younger, state. This attests again that the new man is different from the old.
Paul uses the verb renew in the passive voice in Colossians 3:10 and Ephesians 4:22-23. In Romans 12:2, the gerund renewing is also part of a passive structure, "be transformed." A "problem" of the passive voice is that it does not tell us the actor of a verb, except through the use of an optional prepositional phrase. For example, "The stone was thrown," although a complete sentence, does not tell us who threw the stone unless we tack on the phrase by John.
We know the renewed man is different from the old, but who is the actor? Who does the renewing Paul mentions so often? God? Humans? Angels? Romans 12:1-2 tells us.
In verse 1, Paul issues a call for action: He pleads for us to present ourselves to God as holy. In verse 2, he tells how, in a general sense, we must do this. We become holy by transforming our mind through a renewal process. In saying this, Paul establishes a cause-and-effect relationship between our mind's renewal (cause) and our transformation (effect). Renewal causes transformation.
Notice something else about verse 2: In it, Paul is doing far more than just telling us how to be transformed; he is exhorting us to carry out that transformation. God does not renew our mind! If God, by fiat, simply caused us to be transformed by renewing our mind, we would need to take no action whatsoever. God would simply renew our minds, and as an effect of His action, we would be transformed. If that were how it worked, Paul's exhortation to us would be useless, senseless, and illogical.
No, we are to renew our mind. As we do so day by day, we invariably experience a transformation of character, such that we become less and less "conformed to this world."
It comes as no surprise, of course, that growth to holiness requires effort on our part. The apostle Peter issues a call for holiness in I Peter 1:16, "Be holy, for I am holy" (see Leviticus 11:44). Notice the context. Peter says we are to be "holy in all [our] conduct" (I Peter 1:15), that is, our way of life.
How?
"Therefore gird up the loins of your mind as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts [those of the old man], as in your ignorance" (verses 13-14). Clearly, Peter exhorts us to become holy by changing our conduct. In following chapters, he specifically defines holy conduct for servants, wives, and husbands.
The relationship between holiness and conduct is not just a New Testament teaching. The Old Testament says the same thing. For example, Leviticus 19 clearly connects the holiness we are to seek (verse 2) with our conduct. The chapter outlines the moral and ethical conduct God requires of holy people in a number of areas, such as business and sexual matters.
Of course, all this does not deny or belittle the part God plays in our individual growth to holiness. Notice Romans 12:1 again. We attain holiness "by the mercies of God." In reality, God has a huge role to play. As we showed before, God establishes the new man in the first place. We could never do that. In addition, He provides vital help on a day-by-day basis through His Holy Spirit, a vital role, as Paul makes clear when he reminds us that God "saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit" (Titus 3:5).
The most basic way in which we renew our minds is by obeying God's law, the perfect reflection of His character and nature. Notice how consistently Paul describes the new man in terms of the behavior and conduct God expects from him. In fact, wherever Paul broaches the subject of the new man, a discussion of a Christian's proper moral and ethical conduct is never far away.

The Final Battle

 The Final Battle

From: Today God Is First by Os Hillman
December 31, 2020
"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war," (Revelation 19:11-12).
I used to love old western movies growing up. So often the main characters would get into trouble and just in the nick of time the cavalry would show up blowing their trumpet and riding their horses to announce their arrival to save those in trouble.
Throughout our lives a battle is waged between Satan and God's Kingdom. There is a final battle coming that will see Jesus and His army invade the enemies of His kingdom. It is the great climax to thousands of years of warfare.
"He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS" (Revelation 19:12-16).
We are all moving toward a day in which we will be judged: "The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books" (Revelation 20:12-13).
Ultimately, all believers in Jesus will reign with Christ in a new heaven and earth (Revelation 21). How you live your life now will determine your role in the new heaven and earth.
Your life on earth is a mere blink on the scale of time. Whatever hardships you've faced on earth will pale in comparison to the glory that is to be revealed when the marriage of the Bride of Christ takes place on that final day.
Be faithful. Stand firm. And see the glory of the Lord. Amen.

Thoughts on Today's Verse

"But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well." Luke 12:31

Thoughts on Today's Verse by Phil Ware
As we stand at the end of one year and look over tomorrow into the beginning of a new one, let's remember that before our New Year's resolutions are made and broken, and before this year has come to an end, we can and we must declare to the Lord and in our hearts, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord..." (Joshua 24:15) as our first priority!
My Prayer...
As I conclude this year and begin another, I pray that you will help me keep my eyes on Jesus, dear Father, and my heart focused on your will. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Key Annointings

Key Anointings from The Esther Anointing by Michelle McClain-

I believe that God has set forth four key anointings to impart to women of God in this season. All four of these anointings will manifest in the lives of modern-day Esthers, and their influence will expand God's kingdom in the earth.
An Unshakable Love for God That Will Cause Us to Love Others
In this season God is releasing to women an unshakable love poured out to us from His heart that will enable us to love all people. We are getting ready to experience a surge of revival in the world, and this will cause an influx of people into our lives with whom we may never have come into contact otherwise.
We must let God define what this love looks like. We must set our affections on things above (Col. 3:2). The Holy Spirit will teach us how to love God and how to love one another. Love is not humanistic. We can't love God any way we want to. We must love Him with all our minds, all our hearts, and all our strength (Mark 12:30). We are coming to a place of affection-based obedience. Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15, NKJV).
This love will cause us to be ready to lay down our lives for others. It's not sloppy agape. True love will break through anything and cause us to see the human in those who have been dehumanized—even those whom we would normally fear or shy away from.
You have the greatest level of influence on a person when they know you love them. They will trust you to speak into their lives. They will trust you to pray for them. They will trust you with their lives. Think about it. When you know that God loves you, you have faith. The Bible says that "faith ... worketh by love" (Gal. 5:6, KJV). Personally, knowing God loves me causes me to believe what He says. When you understand how much He loves you and that He will move heaven and earth on your behalf, you will have faith. This is the love that we are designed to display in order to be an influence to those around us.
Supernatural Wisdom to Influence and Disciple Nations
The wisdom I am referring to is not the gift of wisdom, given by the Lord for a particular situation. Rather, I believe He is releasing a supernatural anointing of wisdom, an abiding anointing, that will serve you in every circumstance you are presented with in your own life or the lives of others. God will give you supernatural wisdom for major life decisions. He will give you supernatural wisdom for the person on your job who loves to tell you about their problems, or that millionaire in your circle who doesn't know what to do about their schizophrenic child.
You may not be one who preaches messages publicly in the pulpit, but you can preach the best message to someone's life, healing and delivering them through the wisdom of God that flows through you.
This is the same wisdom that Solomon had (1 Kings 4:29). Solomon asked God for supernatural wisdom, and God gave it to him. God will release to you this same anointing for supernatural wisdom. You will know things you aren't supposed to know, things you haven't studied or been told. He will give you this wisdom by inspiration. Such wisdom allowed Solomon to be a king, a judge, an inventor and a songwriter (songs penetrate the human heart). This is the same wisdom that was with God when He created the earth. To modern-day Esthers, God will give inventions, cures, books, songs, solutions to problems, words of wisdom and knowledge that has the power to shake nations.
Ask God for supernatural wisdom. James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (NKJV). Why not you; why not now?
We need divine wisdom to rest upon us, to fill us up and to pour out of our mouths. Through this wisdom we will bring forth the influence we were designed for.
Uncompromising Boldness to Preach the Gospel
This particular anointing for boldness will cause us to preach the gospel without fear or compromise. It is not so that we can boast and promote ourselves. It is not so that we can build our own kingdoms. This boldness will give us courage to speak the truth of God's Word wherever we are, to whomever needs to hear the good news. The Bible says that we have a debt to everybody to preach the gospel to them (see Rom. 1:14–15).
The gospel is what fills the empty places in people's lives. When we speak the truth of the gospel, we crush the windpipe of the devil, who is trying to speak lies to them. He tells them that they are nothing, that they are nobody. When we tell people instead that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, we shut the mouth of the enemy. When we preach the gospel to our children who are confused about who they are, we are putting our foot on the enemy's neck and crushing it. This is what it means to tread upon scorpions and serpents. The anointing to boldly preach the gospel of Jesus Christ brings the miraculous power of God into dismal situations and increases the influence of God's kingdom.
An Outbreak of Miraculous Healings, Deliverances, Provision and Salvations
The Lord wants to reach people of all nations and bring them to salvation. He is using women who will operate in resurrection power in places where women have been oppressed. We will be a sign and a wonder to our oppressors (see Isa. 8:18). In many nations women are considered nonthreatening, so the authorities don't interfere with us and then are often baffled by those who preach in power and authority.
The Lord is empowering women with miraculous power to influence human hearts for the glory of God. He releases miracles to show that He is a loving God who acts on our behalf. Supernatural healing shows God's compassion, causing many to turn to Him. When Jesus raised the widow's son from the dead, the people said, "God has come to help his people" (Luke 7:16, NIV).
The power of the Holy Spirit comes to encourage belief in the one true God and validate the message of the messenger. First Thessalonians 1:5-6 (NKJV) says: "For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake. And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit."
There are many people today who may never accept the idea of women being preachers, but they won't be able to deny the hand of the Lord resting upon our lives. God's hand will empower us to accomplish great healings and deliverances on His behalf. Scores of women with issues of blood, daughters who are dying and other problems need our healing hands in their lives. We must not be hindered by the misleading words of man's wisdom; we must go forward and manifest the power of God.

Suing for $500 Million

 Suing for $500 Million

The owner of a computer repair shop at the center of a series of October stories on emails retrieved from what was alleged to be Hunter Biden’s laptop has filed a $500 million defamation lawsuit against Twitter.
John Paul Mac Isaac, who owns the Mac Shop in Delaware, sued the social media giant for allegedly defaming him and his business through the platform’s censorship of a story by the New York Post on emails contained in the alleged Hunter Biden laptop. The laptop was dropped off at Isaac’s shop in April 2019 for repairs but never recovered. Isaac later turned the contents of the laptop over to the FBI and to an attorney working with Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal lawyer.
In October, Twitter locked the Post’s account and barred users from sharing an article that cited emails retrieved from the Biden laptop. The social media giant said the story violated its rules against posting “hacked materials.”
“Defendant’s actions and statements had the specific intent to communicate to the world that Plaintiff is a hacker,” Isaac’s lawsuit, filed on Monday, says. “The term ‘hacker’ is widely viewed as disparaging, particularly when said about someone who owns a computer repair business.”
“Plaintiff is not a hacker and the information obtained from the computer does not [include] hacked materials because Plaintiff lawfully gained access to the computer, first with the permission of its owner, Biden, and then, after Biden failed to retrieve the hard drive despite Plaintiff’s requests, in accordance with the Mac Shop’s abandoned property policy,” the lawsuit continues. “Plaintiff, as a direct result of Defendant’s actions and statements is now widely considered a hacker and, on the same day Defendant categorized the Plaintiff as a hacker, Plaintiff began to receive negative reviews of his business as well as threats to his person and property.”
Twitter declined our request for comment.
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey admitted that his company was “wrong” to censor the Post’s story on Hunter Biden. He said that after launching an internal review, the company took steps to correct their mistake after finding that the story did not actually violate its policies. While the story was able to be shared, the Post’s own Twitter account remained locked for over a week.
“We were called here today because of an enforcement decision we made against the New York Post based on a policy we created in 2018 to prevent Twitter from being used to spread hacked materials. This resulted in us blocking people from sharing a New York Post article publicly or privately,” Dorsey testified to Congress on Nov. 17. “We made a quick interpretation using no other evidence that the materials in the article were obtained through hacking, and according to our policy, we blocked them from being spread. Upon further consideration, we admitted this action was wrong and corrected it within 24 hours.”
In November, Isaac reportedly temporarily abandoned his closed shop and left the area after receiving alleged death threats. As The Daily Wire reported:
A sign posted on John Mac Isaac’s Trolley Square store ten days after the election said it was closed, a neighbor claiming that the owner had left town. Mac Isaac’s lawyer, Brian Della Rocca, confirmed to the Delaware News Journal that Mac Isaac had closed the shop, but did not say whether his client had left town. He did claim that his client had received death threats.

Thoughts on Today's Verse

"When the priests and Levites had purified themselves ceremonially, they purified the people, the gates and the wall." Nehemiah 12:30

Thoughts on Today's Verse by Phil Ware
God has placed each of us in a circle of influence. Before we try to "clean up" those around us, let's first offer ourselves to God to be consecrated and to be made pure by his grace. Then, let's live in a way that shows the impact of that holiness in our lives. Jesus told us to remove the plank from our own eye before we try to clean the speck out of someone else's eye. For leaders at any level, "living holy" is essential before calling others to holiness! God's greatest times of spiritual renewal begin when leaders first consecrate themselves to God and his work.
My Prayer...
O Father in heaven, forgive me for my sins. I want to be pure and holy, cleansed by your Spirit and forgiven by your grace. Please bless me as I seek to live a holy life before those I influence. I need your powerful help to be the example and person of character that you want me to be, and that my friends need me to be. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
John 16:24,
“Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”
1 Thessalonians 2:17-20,
“But, brothers and sisters, when we were orphaned by being separated from you for a short time (in person, not in thought), out of our intense longing we made every effort to see you. For we wanted to come to you—certainly I, Paul, did, again and again—but Satan blocked our way. For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you? Indeed, you are our glory and joy.”

And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

Woman praising, Bible verses about joy
4 Joyful Songs of Praise from the Bible
Isaiah 12:1-6,
“In that day you will say: “I will praise you, LORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.” With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. In that day you will say: “Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”
Luke 1:46-55,
“And Mary said: ‘My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name. His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation. He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts. He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he promised our ancestors.’”
1 Samuel 2:1-10,
“Then Hannah prayed and said: ‘My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. ‘There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. ‘Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the LORD is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed. ‘The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength. Those who were full hire themselves out for food, but those who were hungry are hungry no more. She who was barren has borne seven children, but she who has had many sons pines away. ‘The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. ‘For the foundations of the earth are the LORD’s; on them he has set the world. He will guard the feet of his faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness. ‘It is not by strength that one prevails; those who oppose the LORD will be broken. The Most High will thunder from heaven; the LORD will judge the ends of the earth. ‘He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed.’”
Isaiah 26:1-21,
“... But your dead will live, LORD; their bodies will rise— let those who dwell in the dust wake up and shout for joy— your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead. (vs. 19).
