Clinton's Tangled Web of Crime

Clinton's Tangled Web of Crime by Bill Wilson

Before FBI Director James Comey closed his previous investigation of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, a meeting occurred between Comey's boss Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Hillary's husband Bill in the back of an airplane in Phoenix.

Eight days later, Comey announced, "Our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case."

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that Justice Department leaders also pressured Comey and the FBI to not continue another investigation into the Clinton Foundation for financial crimes, influence peddling, or failing to register as an agent of a foreign entity. WSJ reports that the order to "stand down" came from DOJ deputy director Andrew McCabe.

WSJ reports McCabe's wife Jill received $467,500 in campaign funds in late 2015 from the political-action committee of Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, "a longtime ally of the Clintons and, until he was elected governor in November 2013, a Clinton Foundation board member...

In February of this year, Mr. McCabe ascended from the No. 3 position at the FBI to the deputy director post. When he assumed that role, officials say, "He started overseeing the probe into Mrs. Clinton's use of a private email server for government work when she was secretary of state."

This confirms that there are multiple ongoing investigations of the Clinton's, their associates, and their Foundation for what amounts to organized crime.

Enter Huma Abedin, Clinton's longtime confidant, rumored lesbian lover, and with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Abedin used yahoo email accounts and unsecured servers for government business. She and her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner, who is under FBI investigation for solicitation of a 15 year old girl, shared a computer where over 650,000 emails were found, thousands of them involving Clinton, Clinton's chief of staff at the State Department and Abedin that likely were sent from Clinton's private email server in her home's closet.

Let us remember that Clinton's running mate is Tim Kaine, also from Virginia and has Islamic ties, and that Lynch pleaded the 5th Amendment on October 24 to avoid incriminating herself in the Congressional investigation of over the $1.7 billion paid by the government to Iran, a terrorist sponsor.

All these people have ties to the Clintons, and the ones mentioned in this post are just the tip of the iceberg. There are many, many more shady dealings and unscrupulous people.

Americans are getting a small glimpse of what appears to be a tangled web of organized crime led by the Clintons. Moreover, these dealings are the works of those who are the enemies of God. Millions of dollars received from sponsors of Islamic terrorism for access to the US government; government secrets illegally transferred on unsecured networks; people whose influence was bought by campaign funds and job promotions--all done in secret to the enrichment of Clinton and to the advancing of some nefarious agenda.

Proverbs 6:12-19 says, "A naughty person, a wicked man, talks with a perverse mouth. He winks with his eyes, he speaks with his feet, he teaches with his fingers; Perversity is in his heart, he devises mischief continually; he sows discord. Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.

"These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren."

Brothers and Sisters, we are better than this.

Constitutional Crisis

Constitutional Crisis by Joel C. Rosenberg

With just one week to go to Election Day in the U.S., here are three new and significant developments worth noting.

First, it is becoming increasingly clear that the FBI's decision to re-open the criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton and her most senior advisors, including Huma Abedin, has grave implications for the country.

The Bureau has reportedly found some 650,000 emails on the computer of Abedin's estranged husband, former Rep. Anthony Weiner.

All of those emails have to be carefully reviewed to see what they contain, including classified information. Then the evidence must be assessed to determine if criminal charges should be brought against anyone.

It could take several weeks, or even months, to complete the investigation. Even the mainstream media is beginning to see the significance of this. "FBI officials are unlikely to finish their review of new emails potentially related to the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private server before the November 8 election," reports CNN.

Second, a senior Democrat strategist has just publicly announced that he cannot support Hillary for President and warns a "constitutional crisis" will ensue if she wins.

Doug Schoen is a highly respected pollster and political strategist for the Democrat Party. He has known the Clintons for more than two decades. He worked for President Bill Clinton. And until this week, he has supported Hillary for President.

But on Monday he warned of a "constitutional crisis" that will ensue if America elects a candidate who is actively under criminal investigation by the FBI.

"I am now convinced that we will be facing the very real possibility of a constitutional crisis with many dimensions and deleterious consequences should Secretary Clinton win the election," Schoen wrote in a column for The Hill and for Foxnews.com.

"Donald Trump likes to say that the Clinton email scandal is worse than Watergate. I remember Watergate very well. What troubled me most, was that the United States was paralyzed and unable to act. President Nixon and the government were rendered impotent, unable to govern and meet its responsibilities to the American public. I worry that the same thing could happen after a victory by Secretary Clinton and could carry on into her term of office."

So with only days to go until the election, Schoen said he will not vote for Clinton -- stunning -- you couldn't make this up if you tried.

To be clear, this is not a Republican operative, or a conservative strategist, or an Evangelical leader making the case of a grave threat to American democracy posed by someone of Clinton's reputation. This is a top Democrat who has been part of the Clinton-Obama team for decades, breaking with Hillary in the final week of the campaign. Unbelievable.

Third, another long-time strategist and pollster for the Democrat Party says he now believes the news about the FBI's criminal investigation will cause undecided voters to turn against Hillary in significant numbers and that "the dam is about to break."

Patrick Caddell was President Jimmy Carter's pollster.

He helped design the Carter re-election campaign in 1980. He helped Carter drive the narrative that Ronald Reagan was too conservative, too dangerous and unqualified to be president. He was certain Carter was going to win -- his own polls had Carter up big -- until the final weekend of that campaign.

At the last moment, "undecideds" broke decisively against Carter and for Reagan.

Caddell now says this campaign feels like 1980 -- in large part because of the FBI investigation, he believes it's possible that a significant percentage of the remaining 12-15% of undecided voters could break against Hillary in these final days.

We'll see. There could be many more twists and turns in this final week -- indeed, you'd almost have to expect them given the pattern of this race.

That said, it is noteworthy that long-time senior Democrats like Schoen and Caddell are warning that events could shift rapidly because of the deep distrust Americans have towards Mrs. Clinton and their exhaustion with the culture of corruption and seemingly never-ending seasons of scandal.

Exchange on Fox News:

DOUG SCHOEN: As you know, I have been a supporter of Secretary Clinton... But given that this investigation is going to go on for many months after the election...if the Secretary of State wins, we will have a president under criminal investigation, with Huma Abedin under criminal investigation, with the Secretary of State, the president-elect, should Clinton win will be under investigation.

Under these circumstances, I am actively reassessing my support. I'm not a Trump....

HARRIS FAULKNER, FOX NEWS: Whoa, whoa, wait a minute. You are not going to vote for Hillary Clinton?

SCHOEN: Harris, I'm deeply concerned that we'll have a constitutional crisis if she's elected.

FAULKNER: Wow....

SCHOEN: I want to learn more this week. See what we see. But as of today, I am not a supporter of the Secretary of State for the nation's highest office.

FAULKNER: How long have you known the Clintons.

SCHOEN: I've known the Clintons since '94.

I share these with you not as a political analyst trying to handicap the "horse race," per se. There are plenty of pundits out there offering their educated and not-so-educated guesses on who will win the American presidential race, how and why. I've certainly done my share of political analysis in my career, but that's not my purpose here.

Rather, I'm writing as one seeking to "analyze this present time," not simply through the lens of geopolitics and economics but through what I call "the third lens," the lens of the Scriptures.

In the Hebrew Scriptures -- notably in Ezekiel chapter 33 -- the Lord speaks of the importance of being a "watchman on the wall." If you see threats coming against a nation, you must be faithful to warn people of those threats and give them the opportunity and the time to take action.

In my fiction and non-fiction books, and in my columns and speeches, I have consistently sought to warn people of threats I see coming against the United States, against Israel, against our Arab allies in the Mideast and around the world, and against the Church.

As the author of Implosion: Can America Recover From Her Economic snf Spiritual Challenges In Time?, I'm deeply concerned about the direction America is headed, and never more so than right now. I believe America is not simply facing a season of decline but is in danger of outright collapse.

Thus, I have been praying earnestly that the Lord would give us a president who could help turn this ship of state around and get America heading in the right direction.

We need much more than that, of course. We need a sweeping spiritual revival in the Church and another Great Awakening across the land. But a president who truly understood the enormous threats America faces from within and without, and who was serious about helping lead the nation back to the right track, could be of critical help.

Hillary Clinton is clearly not that candidate. As I have warned throughout this year, a Hillary presidency would be a catastrophe for America. The news of the last few days simply underscores this.

To be sure, I've written in detail about Donald Trump's serious flaws and the risks a Trump presidency would pose. I haven't sugar-coated the truth about either candidate. Rather, I'm trying to be honest in my analysis, even though many of my readers don't want to hear it, so people understand the risks the nation faces from either candidate.

Today, I focused on Mrs. Clinton, because of these three significant new developments.

Last point: I will continue to pray faithfully for each of the candidates and their families and advisors. And I will continue to pray that the Lord will be merciful to America.

The nation has many hard days ahead no matter who wins next week. Rather than be anxious or discouraged or angry, however, the Lord calls us to be "joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer." (Romans 12:12)

This column is based on my personal beliefs and opinions. I share them in my personal capacity as an American citizen and an author.

Shine Forth the Light

Keep on Shining

Man has no light. Man is much like the moon, which is a massive rock floating in space that is totally devoid of light.

Yet this dark satellite of Earth can illumine the night--but only when it is in a position where it can reflect the light of the sun.

Like the moon, man has no light of his own. He is enshrouded in the darkness of sin and swallowed into the quagmire of his own depravity.

But when a man allows himself to draw close to the ONE who is LIGHT; when he kneels at the feet of JESUS and becomes bathed in the glory of HIS presence, he becomes a reflector of the LORD'S holy light.

A man who is darkened by the shame of his sin becomes bathed in the cleansing flood of CALVARY, and when he is clean, he shines forth the ETERNAL LIGHT of the LIVING CHRIST.

CRITICAL LIFE LESSON

CRITICAL LIFE LESSON

"Do you know how to catch wild pigs?"..

There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt.

The professor asked the young man what was the matter.

The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist regime. In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked: "Do you know how to catch wild pigs?"

The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said that it was no joke. "You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free food."

"When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again.

"You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.

"Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity."

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America . The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops, welfare entitlements, medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time as the government forces us to participate in many of these programs whether we want to or not.

One should always remember two truths:

1.There is no such thing as a free lunch
2. You can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.

If you see that all of this "wonderful government help" is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America, please share this with your friends.

God help us all when the gate slams shut!

Quote for today: "The problems we face are there because the people who work for a living are now outnumbered by those that vote for a living."

Concealing a Matter

November 1
Concealing a Matter
From: Today God Is First by Os Hillman

"He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." Proverbs 28:13

None of us is immune from making poor choices in our lives. David made a number of seemingly minor choices that snowballed into an avalanche of suffering, shame and tragedy.

It started when he chose to stay at home in Jerusalem instead of going out to lead his troops into battle, as was his duty. David had too much time on his hands, which ultimately led to him committing adultery with Bathsheba and trying to cover up that sin with murder.

So God sent the prophet Nathan to tell King David a story: "There were two men in a town, one rich, one poor. The rich man had many sheep and cattle. The poor man had nothing but one little ewe lamb, which he raised like one of the family. The ewe lamb shared the man's food, drank from his cup, and slept in his arms. One day, when the rich man had a guest to entertain, he didn't want to slaughter any of his own sheep or cattle, so he took the poor man's lamb, killed it, and prepared it as a feast for his guest."

David responded: "The rich man deserves death!" he said. "He must pay the man four times the value of the lamb, because he did an unjust thing and had no compassion!"

Then Nathan turned to King David and said, "You are the man! This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says: 'I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul.

“I gave your master's house to you, and your master's wives into your arms. I gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more.

“Why did you despise the word of the Lord by doing what is evil in His eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own!'"

To his credit, David confessed and repented of his sins, and God forgave him.

God's forgiveness restores the broken relationship between Himself and a sinner, but forgiveness can't make everything exactly as it was. Sin has consequences that forgiveness cannot change.

David had consequences he had to live with for the rest of his life, and so do sinners today.

May we avoid sin so their consequences won’t dog our heels, so their consequences won’t rob us of the fullness of our salvation.
