Prayer from Beth Lynn

 Prayer from Beth Lynn

I'm sending this out to intercessors so everyone can bind together in prayer for our president.

Dear Father,

We ask and thank you ahead of time for your manifest presence to surround President Trump. You are the Commander In Chief of all the Angel Armies and we ask that you would move your heavenly messengers into place as an impenetrable shield around him.

Please direct our prayers that we might fight effectively. Father at this crucial juncture in time.  We ask you to comfort our president; comfort.. and refresh him. Wash over and through him--filling him with your Holy Spirit which gives life to the mortal body. This man can do nothing apart from you. Fill him and lead through him Father.

Give wise and godly council to him through those he is surrounded by. Give them holy utterances and phrases and words of life to speak. Father, give the president ears to hear you.

Let the many barbs and arrows sent against him by the enemy simply fall to the ground short of the mark. Move your intercessors into place all across the world as if they were chess pieces in the hands of the Master.  Holy Holy are you great King and the government is upon your shoulders.

President Donald Trump is first and foremost a beloved child of yours. Remind him of that this morning. Remind him that  you are LORD.

It occurs to me, Father, that it is sometimes a difficult thing for many of us without the grandeur, finances, power and accolades to remember your Lordship; so how much more difficult it must be for the President who occupies such a lofty status  to remember.

Lift him up this day with the reminder of your status, your  bearing, your great love and your unfathomable power and scope.

Focus his eyes upon you now and always. In Jesus Name.

Thoughts on Today's Verse

"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. " Isaiah 9:2

Thoughts on Today's Verse by Phil Ware
This great promise in Isaiah was fulfilled with the coming of Jesus (see Matthew 4:15-16; Luke 1:79).
As darkness falls tonight, look out at a street light and capture it in your memory so that every time you see a light shining in the darkness it will remind you to do two things: 1. give thanks to God for sending his light and 2. commit yourself to sharing that light with those you know.
My Prayer...
Loving and Eternal God, thank you for shining your light into my life through Jesus. Help my words and actions bless those around me so that the light of your grace and the salvation that Jesus brings may be seen by everyone I influence today and each day of my life that follows. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

GOD Will Reveal "Healing for America"

God Will Reveal a 'Healing Process' for America, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem Says - Christian headlines

Kristi Noem, the Republican governor of South Dakota, tackled a number of issues in an interview on CBN News on Wednesday, including religious freedom, cancel culture and the coronavirus pandemic.
Noem explained to CBN News Chief Political Analyst David Brody that she did not implement lockdown procedures during the pandemic because she felt that it would be government overreach.
"I know that when you have a leader overstep their authority in a time of crisis, that's really when you lose this country, and I didn't want to be guilty of doing that," she explained. "I never issued a shelter in place, I never closed a business. I didn't even define an essential business, what would be essential and what wouldn't be because I don't have the authority to do that," she said.
Noem noted that she believes other leaders, particularly governors in Democrat-run cities, have politicized the pandemic.
"At the beginning of this crisis back in March and April, I don't think it was really politically motivated because these same Democrat governors that are on TV, tearing apart the president today, months ago, were singing his praises," she said, adding how they were thanking Trump during conference calls for his assistance during the pandemic.
"What I am saying, though, is that what I heard on those conference calls was fear. I was shocked and amazed by how fear controlled people, and how emotional they were. And to me it indicated to me that in this country we've lost faith and the steadfast promise of God's faithfulness in our life every day has real consequences," she continued. "If you don't have that in your life then your emotions and fear can control you and make you not have the discernment and wisdom that you need in a time of crisis."
- Father, we thank You for Governor Noem, that she believe that You will help America in this time of great need. We ask Your protection and blessing for her.
- "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24-26)
