God does nothing by halves. He knows what He is about and He is steadfast in pursuing His ends. When He fashioned Earth by the Word of His mouth as His Spirit moved upon the face of the deep, He did not stop to rest until the entirety of the task of creation was done—including the fashioning of man in His image.
Likewise, when He extended the promise of salvation to mankind, He held out to His errant creation a complete package. Even before Christ was born in Bethlehem, reared in Galilee and crucified outside Jerusalem, His promise was declared—and He set about to bring it to fruition through Jesus our Savior.
In Psalm 103:3, 4, we are given the scope of the promise. Here He says, “He forgives all your sin; He heals all your diseases; He redeems your life from the destruction of hell and the grave.” These are powerful words, spoken by an Almighty God who has the authority to bring them to pass.
When we come to Jesus, when we have received Him as Savior and Lord of our lives, there is no aspect of His ministry on earth that is not available to us as we apply His Kingdom’s principles to our lives. When we pray through the power of the Holy Spirit within us, the full authority of Heaven backs us up!
