If you want a closer walk with JESUS, just start walking! If you want more intimate fellowship with the ONE who is above all things, begin following Him on that higher ground.
It is certain that you can't maintain your life and activity on a worldly, godless level if you want to walk your walk with HIM.
He
can find you wherever you are. He is not too good to reach down and
pick you out of the gutter and set your feet on higher ground...but HE
will not wallow in the mire with you.
If you want a closer walk with JESUS, if you want to breathe the rarefied air of glory, you must allow yourself the joy of walking where HE walks, on the lofty plane of truth and hope and power and godliness.
