Every Word of God is absolute truth. When the 'evidence' appears to stack up against God's Word, the evidence is incorrect and will conform to the Holy Writ when more information becomes available to substantiate the infallible utterances of the Most High.
The story of Noah and the arc is one of those more readily substantiated truths of Scripture.
