Pray At All Times

When we're in need of guidance,
Through times we cannot see
Just where we are heading
Or where we ought to be;

When increased faith is needed
Through times of fear and doubt,
For moments when we question
What life is all about;

When we're in need of comfort
Because of pain or grief,
When our spirits and our hearts ache
And our minds pray for relief

When we need a friend beside us
Through moments we're alone,
We're lost in grief and sorrow
And none can guide us home;

When we need great power,
For we're under strong attack,
We're struggling with temptation,
And lured to Satan's trap.

In all these times of life's assault,
In all that we go through,
One thing is very certain
It's what we all must do

It's then we never cease to call
At Heaven's throne with prayer,
For praying opens heaven's door
And gives God's listening ear.

He hears and then He speaks to us!
Oh, the glory He'll reveal!
As faith o'ercomes each doubt and fear
And walks within His perfect will.
