Be Still

We feel the necessity of doing something ... often at times when all the LORD expects of us is to "be still."

HE wants us to trust HIM so completely that even when our circumstances are stressful, we still trust HIM.

We might tell ourselves that if life were simply good, we would be better able to trust JESUS, but the reality is that if life were simply good we would have no need to trust HIM ... we would be perfectly secure in trusting ourselves.

When we are beyond our own ability to remedy our situation, when we are out of our comfort zone, when we are unable to discern what our next step should be, it is then we must be still in the confidence that our GOD is in control and HE is working all things to our good. (See Romans 8:28.)
