Faith Counts

This account of the financial contribution of 'religion' to the economy of the country is astounding; however, the true value of CHRISTIANITY to the economy of a nation cannot be calculated in monetary terms.

One needs only to contemplate the differences observed between an earlier day when people of faith were more prominently represented than they are today and our own time of waning interest in things pertaining to religious endeavors to recognize the profound loss that is brought to our society by its minimizing of the importance of religious faith.

As we ponder the value of the outstanding contribution people of faith in CHRIST make to our economy, let us not neglect to recognize the extreme impact they have also upon the fabric of our society as a whole.

Let us value it and do all we can to restore it to its former lofty position of importance within our hearts and lives.
