What Will Your Vote Say about YOUR Values?

In this day of rampant evil, when rioting and looting and assault on the defenders of the law are allowed in our major cities; in this day when "good is called evil and evil is called good," Isaiah 5:20, we are anxious and afraid -- not just for ourselves but for our children and grandchildren.

A Pandora's box of wantonness has been opened, and can anything staunch the flow of evil that is roaring like a tsunami over our land?

There is a presidential election in less than two months.  One candidate and his running mate are staunch advocates of the horrific sin of abortion.  Joe Biden and Kamala Harris support a mother's "right to choose" up until the time of natural birth.

An infant that should be placed in the loving arms of parents who rejoice at his or her arrival can be slain.  This is quite reminiscent of the child sacrifices that were made before the false gods in ancient times.  Have we reverted to the insidious evil that was a stench in the nostrils of the ONE TRUE GOD?  If Biden and Harris are our president and vice president, it seems we have.

Factor in the evil intent of Margaret Sanger whose advocacy of abortion was based largely her desire to eliminate the black race, and we can see that at its very core, abortion is wicked on every level.

On the other hand we have a president running for re-election who has done more to economically advantage all races of Americans who is being castigated and maligned because he is brash and because he has had three wives.

Has Donald Trump's life been lived in exemplary fashion?  No one would suggest that it has, but as JESUS HIMSELF said of those who wanted to stone the woman caught in adultery, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

Are you free of sin?

Can you be the one to cast the first stone?

The evil of this age and those who finance it are in GOD'S crosshairs.  They will, as Shakespeare said, "strut their hour upon the stage," but after their hour "comes the judgment," Hebrews 9:27.

As free citizens of a land that was established on the WORD and the LAW of GOD ALMIGHTY, may we cast our vote in the up-coming election on our values rather than on an individual or on a political party.

I pray that the GOD of our founding fathers, the SAVIOR who came  into the world to deliver us from sin, will touch each voter in the depth of his or her heart to do what is right in the election booth on November 3, 2020.

I pray that YOU, dear reader, will use your one vote to affirm law and order and to affirm life.
