'Born Again in a Barn': People Encounter Jesus at Ohio Revival I attended a Christian barn revival in northwest Ohio, and although it had concrete floors and industrial-sized fans, it felt like church. The 4-day barn revival at the Arbor House Barn in Rawson, was full of fellowship, worship, preaching, and prayer each night hosted by Brendon and Anna Reiners, who own Revive Coffee Co. The couple said “yes” to hosting the revival services after they had just moved to the property weeks before without a lot of what was needed, but within five days of the service, they said the Lord provided the sound equipment, chairs, food, and much more. “When you give a ‘yes’ to the Lord it opens up opportunities for other people to say ‘yes’ as well,” Brendon said. “Our goal in hosting the barn revival was for people to encounter Jesus and to minister to Him.” Joshua Fowler, an evangelist from Texas who has preached in all 50 states and around the world, kicked off the humble service Sunday night in the country outside of Findlay. “You’re heard of the saying, ‘Were you born in a barn?'” Fowler began. “A whole lot of people are going to be born again in a barn. God has a harvest of souls…the church is stepping out of the building.” For a teenager named John that became a reality. On the third night of the revival, he confessed Jesus as Lord and was baptized immediately after the service in an inflatable swimming pool that Brendon filled up in faith before the service. “People of all ages encountered the living God here this week,” the Reiners told me. “We had people set free from demonic oppression, physical healing, emotional and spiritual freedom/healing. We saw the beautiful joy of the Lord rise up and flood the room…We were humbled to meet amazing men and women of God that have traveled the world and said yes to coming…but above all of those amazing things, we had an encounter with Jesus that will mark us for the rest of our lives. Revival and awakening is here and I know it’s only the beginning,” she added. “There is a shift happening in the body of Christ.
