Truth becomes personal when it is reflected upon. As the soothing beverage must be imbibed in order to benefit from its warmth, truth must be taken into oneself through meditation. Take time to think upon the Word of God, to bask in its warmth, to apply it to the heart.
Make sure to respond to the tender touch you will sense enveloping you as you reflect upon God's truth, for that tender touch will be the Holy Spirit of the Living God holding you close to His heart as you think upon Him. Jesus promised to send Him to you so let yourself be bathed in the Father's love by the presence of His Spirit as you begin your morning.
Then allow yourself to rejoice, for "the joy of the Lord is your strength," Nehemiah 8:10. You will require strength as you go about the task of overcoming the challenges and frustrations of your day. They will be come successes as you rejoice in the One who abides with you, the One with whom you have begun your day and with whom you live through all the days of your life.
