Praise
doesn't always come easily, but the WORD of our HOLY GOD tells us that
the Holy One abides in the praise of His people, Psalm 22:3. That tells
us that if we want our hearts to be close to the Lord, we should praise
Him.
We are very quick to shout for our team in sporting events. We are totally uninhibited about displaying our complete support, enthusiasm, and praise for their prowess on the playing field, but we sometimes sit silently in church rather than to overtly express our joy in the God of our salvation even in a house of worship.

What would happen if instead of silence, our praise filled the temple,
according to II Chronicles 5:11-14? What would happen if we delighted
in being in the house of the Lord as much as we delight in being in the
stadiums where our favorite teams compete?
Perhaps there is a clue in the Biblical admonition to "Shout to the Lord with the voice of triumph!" Psalm 47:1 If indeed, HE inhabits our praise, certainly triumph over every foe must accompany His presence.
