We want to know God's plan for us. We are eager to forge ahead with His plan! We want desperately to help Him implement His plan for our lives. Our very determination to 'assist' Him may be the impediment to His facilitating His perfect plan for us.
If we indeed, "Listen to GOD in the silence of our hearts," as suggested here, more than knowing HIS PLAN FOR US, we will KNOW HIM! If we allow Him to impart to us HIS PEACE THAT PASSES UNDERSTANDING, according to Philippians 4:7, we will trust our future to HIM implicitly.
We may not know the future, but in knowing the ONE who holds the future
we will find our confident assurance, our holy boldness, to step into
the unknown.
When we are certain that the LIVING CHRIST dwells within our heart, when HE RULES AND REIGNS OVER OUR LIVES, when we know we have PLACED OUR HAND INTO HIS HAND, we will be able to affirm the promise of GOD with the prophet:
"FEAR NOT, FOR I AM WITH YOU, BE NOT DISMAYED, FOR I AM YOUR GOD. I WILL HELP YOU, I WILL HOLD YOU WITH THE STRONG RIGHT HAND OF MY RIGHTEOUSNESS." Isaiah 41:10
