Change

Change

Change is something people tend to resist. Even good things cause anxiety in the bosom of those who are facing a change to the routine of their lives.

But the Word of God tells us to "be anxious for nothing." Philippians 4:6, 7

Our Heavenly Father has laid down some principles of life that are established forever and we can rest upon them. He has told us that HE will never leave us or forsake us. Deuteronomy 31:6 He has told us that HE is unchanging. Malachi 3:6 He has promised to prepare a place for us in Heaven. John 14:3

There are many more assurances in scripture upon which we may securely build our lives, but these are paramount.

We know we never walk alone. Whether life goes on tomorrow as it has for all our yesterdays or whether we must take a step into the unknown, we are assured that HE is with us.

We know HE is the same forever, therefore, our expectation of HIS actions in our behalf can rest securely upon the evidence of how He has moved in our past circumstances.

And if time ceases to be for us; if HE calls us to our Heavenly abode; if we step into the great unknown realm that looms beyond our eyes and our senses, even then, we know we do not walk alone.

Our peace at the time of transition in our lives comes from the sound theology that assures us our GOD, who is THE LIVING WORD, is the sure foundation of our lives for time and eternity.

No loss, no gain, no move, no change is beyond HIM. HE IS THERE AT THE POINT OF EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE OF LIFE--WHETHER LIFE CHANGES OR WHETHER LIFE STAYS THE SAME.
