People expect excellence of their children's teachers, and well they should. No parent should settle for anything but the best-qualified teachers that money can buy...
...that money can buy.
This just might be 'the rub.'
What are parents willing to spend in order that their children have the best teachers money can buy? Teachers' salaries come from tax monies and parents are notoriously reluctant to be taxed.
Sometimes the old saying, "You get what you pay for," kicks in where teachers' excellence is concerned.
Are your children's teachers performing to your expectation? If they are, be thankful. If they are not, perhaps you need to be willing to see your taxes raised.
