LOVE

Some of you may watch this and wish you had a Mom like Marc's. Maybe your mother and father were too busy making a living to make a life for you. Maybe you reflect upon a childhood that is filled with a sense of being alone and unloved.

Some of you got a raw deal when it comes to your parents. Perhaps your father was an 'absentee dad' who wasn't there to tuck you in at night. Maybe your mother pursued her own happiness without concern for yours.

Whatever disappointments you may have encountered as a child, whatever negative circumstances may have robbed you of the joys of a carefree childhood, you have a HEAVENLY FATHER who loves you more than you have the ability to conceptualize.

You have a SAVIOR who willingly gave up HIS LIFE for yours. JESUS endured the lashes of the notorious Roman "cat of nine tails," to buy healing for your body. (See Isaiah 53:5.) HE endured the cross to redeem you from the consequences of your sinful choices.

This story of Marc's sorrow will bring you to tears, but worse than his lack of appreciation for his mother's love will be your tale of loss if you turn your back on the love and propitiatory sacrifice JESUS holds out to you for your eternal salvation.

It is sad indeed to have a lifetime of regret, but there is no greater woe that can befall you than to have an eternity of regret.

Receive JESUS as your personal SAVIOR and LORD today, and nothing you have lacked in time will grieve you because everything you have gained for eternity will abundantly bless you.
