"Children are a heritage from the LORD. Blessed is the man who has many of them." Psalm 127:3
Life is a rich treasure of good things and of problematic things, which, taken together, afford an individual the opportunity to both savor the good and to overcome the bad.
Life's challenges enable the believer the privilege of leaning upon the CHRIST and finding HIM to be sufficient for every need.
Life's good things give people of faith in the ONE TRUE GOD the
privilege of sharing their blessings with others--their blessings of
time, of wisdom, of hope, of faith, of love, of wealth.
The BIBLE, the WORD of our HOLY GOD, tells us that "in all things" (see I Thessalonians 5:18) we should give thanks, for the LORD has our good in mind through all the eventualities of life.
In the trials, HE will invite us to lean more fully upon HIM and to rely upon HIS provision and HIS help. In the good times, HE will give us blessings through our reaching out to others as HE reaches out to us.
In the challenges of life, HE wants us to offer "the sacrifice of praise; the fruit of our lips giving honor and glory to HIS name." Hebrews 13:15
In the blessings of life, HE wants us to demonstrate HIS bounty and benevolence to those round about us who may not own the treasure we possess.
In all life's circumstances, JESUS expects us to recognize the treasure that life itself is, and to be sure we allow that great gift to be bestowed as HE, the AUTHOR and FINISHER of LIFE, intends for it to be granted, for CHRIST HIMSELF has said, "ALLOW THE CHILDREN TO COME TO ME."
Luke 18:16
How can they come if we rob them of life?
