The Passing of C.S. Lewis by Ravi Zacharias
This event was little noted at the time for the obvious reason.
C.S. Lewis passed away on November 22, 1963 and goes down as the greatest Christian apologist in recent history. It is hard to find someone whose evangelism undergirded by apologetics has been as profound.
Lewis was a master at communication; he basically disarmed the reader, coming to where they were and gently dismantling barriers to belief. He had the unique ability to take people to the front door of reason through the back door of imagination.
I don't think Lewis envisioned the impact and legacy he would have. His work is an inspiration and desperately needed in these times. #CSLewis
