Because You Have Kept My Command

"Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth." Revelation 3:10

There is an evil day encroaching into the time in which we live. The Lord's return is near and the enemy of God's purposes is intensifying his demonic activity in order to have an antichrist prepared to step into the role he must play in that last day.

Some may observe, and rightly, that there has always been evil afoot among the children of men, and that is because the devil has done his work well. The mischief of the archenemy of the Holy One began in Heaven and he has been relentless in pursuing it since his fall from the lofty corridors where the Lord reigns in His glory.

The evil one has always had an antichrist prepared, for he knows not the day or the hour when the Lord shall come back; he doesn't know when God shall catch away the Bride of Christ so he's been diligent in his preparation of an evil entity to assume the role described by the prophets.

We who believe must be aware of the machinations of the enemy of God's purposes and man's soul. We who know Christ as Savior and Lord must not be caught unaware at this crucial hour.

The prayer for a fresh revelation of the glory and majesty of the Christ we serve must be on our lips so all anxiety and fear will indeed fade away as we ponder our all-powerful, eternal Creator!

God's ancient foe may rage for a season. Evil may appear triumphant for a moment in time, but our Lord is on His Throne and death and hell and the grave have been conquered at Calvary!

He is on your side, Believer! He will hold you secure in His loving hand, even on that evil day!
