No less a personage than James Dobson, founder of FOCUS ON THE FAMILY, has asserted that DONALD TRUMP has recently become a "born again" CHRISTIAN who has given his heart and life to JESUS CHRIST.
Dobson has stated that TRUMP is "a baby CHRISTIAN."
Babies learn fast and achieve new skills very rapidly. Even as believers, new converts to CHRIST typically hunger for more and more of JESUS early in their conversion experience and the depth of their commitment is fervent at that stage in their walk with the LORD.
We who are seasoned believers must pray for DONALD TRUMP--whether or
not he becomes our next president--for it would be unfortunate if one
who has so much of earth's wealth would die a spiritual pauper.
Although there is no indication that Mrs. Clinton has walked out the faith that she professes, we should pray for her, that the CHRIST she has asserted to be her SAVIOR will be allowed to become a reality in her life.
If indeed, a tree is known by its fruit, neither Hillary Clinton nor Barack Obama have allowed the tree of their lives to produce godly fruit.
Through this administration, godlessness has reigned--from Obama's first act in office promoting abortion to his recent celebration of a monument to sin, his heart appears to be far from the heart and from the purposes of JESUS.
While no man can save AMERICA, it would be wonderful to have a man of faith at the helm of government in this land again.
Toward that end, may people of faith in CHRIST JESUS continue to pray according to II Chronicles 7:14:
"If MY people, who are called according to MY name, will humble themselves and pray and seek MY face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land."
