God Has a Plan

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

Are you searching for your identity? Are you trying to discover a viable purpose for your life? Do you hunger for more meaning to your existence than merely obtaining an education, finding a job and living out your life in an every-day rut?

If you do, seek the LORD your GOD. His WORD, that cannot fail and cannot lie assures, "You shall seek ME and find ME when you shall search for ME with all your heart."

This tells us that HE will not be found by the casual seeker. If your search is half-hearted because your goal is to satisfy your own goals rather than to discover GOD'S purpose for you, you will not find HIM.

Your single-minded desire must be to first, find yourself in CHRIST, and when you have placed your life at HIS feet and been washed in CALVARY'S cleansing font, you must resolve to follow where HE leads and to do what HE tells you to do.

Will HE ordain you to be a missionary and send you to some far-flung corner of the earth? Perhaps.

Will HE call you to be a pastor who will lead a precious flock of HIS sheep by grounding them in the truth of HIS immutable WORD? Perhaps.

Will HE call you to witness your faith in HIM by every word you say and by everything you do? Yes, HE will, for HE says that when you are HIS, your life becomes, "a living epistle, read of all men."

As the old saying goes, you may be the only BIBLE some people ever read. What will the living letter of your life say about the CHRIST you profess to love and serve?

If you have placed your life into the loving hands of JESUS, HE will use you to HIS purposes, for HE will assure that the eternal plan that HE has had for you will be discovered and will be fulfilled.
