   LORD JESUS, YOUR HOLY WORD, the BIBLE tells us that YOU, as a child, "grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with GOD and man."

   We claim this blessing for our children and for their children, for all generations that YOU tarry YOUR return.
   ...

   Yes, we claim the wisdom of the ages to be the portion of our precious ones, but more than the wisdom that the world can afford to them, we claim YOUR eternal and spiritual understanding to gird their minds and guide their goals.

   We pray for not only physical stature for them but we spiritual stature that will allow them to be giants of the faith. We pray that they will be so filled with "that same power that raised JESUS from the dead and lives in them" that their prayers will pull down strongholds everywhere they find them.

   We trust YOU that they will find favor with men, that they will be people of utmost character and integrity so that their word will be "yea and amen," that their honor will be unswerving and their witness will be unshakable by the challenges that may come into their lives.

   We trust YOU that they will find favor with YOU, that they will be people YOU can call and that their response will always be, "Here am I, LORD. Send me." We trust YOU that the primary goal of their lives, the staunchest employment of the gifts YOU give to them, will be toward the furtherance of YOUR KINGDOM and the establishment of YOUR purposes.

   We ask that the blessings over our precious ones will never cease, and that in them and through them, YOUR HOLY NAME will forever be lifted on high.
