What a Promise!
What prophet or holy man of any other religion makes such a sweeping promise, with such authority, to adherents?
It is a phenomenal word of truth to everyone who comes to JESUS. It is a promise beyond anything the world can hold out to anyone. The world and all its glory cannot begin to compare to the magnitude of this one promise from the lips of the LORD of LIFE.
The believer in CHRIST, in HIS atoning death as a sacrifice for the totality of man's sin holds GOD'S IOU that entitles the born-again person of faith to all that Heaven holds.
Is there a price to be paid for this glorious promise?
Yes, there is, but JESUS has paid the price in full.
The only 'catch' to the eternal life HE promises is man's willingness to die to the fleeting life of time.
If a man will die to sin...
If a man will die to lust...
If a man will die to vanity...
If a man will die to himself...
If a man will die to lust...
If a man will die to vanity...
If a man will die to himself...
If he will, then he will receive the promise that in living to CHRIST in time, he shall never taste the final death.
