Chosen ?

Has President Trump been chosen by God to be the leader of the nation and of the free world?

Based upon the media representation of him, he is a buffoon who somehow managed to secure his place in the Oval Office.

The reality is that many people in our land who have not prospered under other presidents found themselves doing quite well under President Trump's leadership.  Those people were not just white Americans but black Americans.

It seemed things were going excellently and Donald Trump was well on his way to a secured second term in office.  Then, the coronavirus hit -- a virus out of China, a nation that has enjoyed an unchallenged time of unequal prospering over American producers and businesses.

A coincidence that this deadly virus emerged just prior to the election season?  Maybe.

Or maybe it was unleashed in order to undermine the president's re-election bid.  Maybe the Chinese used the virus as a means to assure Joe Biden's election to the highest office in the land -- assuring a return to the time of Chinese dominance enjoyed when Obama was president and Biden was his VP.

Then, if that weren't enough, George Floyd was brutally murdered by a renegade white policeman and looting and rioting and destruction were unleashed against American cities.  Among the businesses destroyed by the Black Lives Matter crowd (which is purported to have strong ties to communism, including its founder) are the businesses of black entrepreneurs. 

Racism in all its forms is contemptable.  The JESUS we who call ourselves CHRISTIANS love and serve gave HIS life on a cruel Roman cross to save ALL people, without regard to their skin color or cultural heritage.  

JESUS shed HIS blood at the hands of a Roman soldier who wielded the cruel Roman "cat of nine tails," a whip with nine rick-tipped lashes that tore HIS back to shreds -- and the prophet Isaiah tells us that it is "by HIS stripes we are healed."  Those "stripes" were the wounds of the lash.

JESUS bore a crown of thorns upon HIS sinless brow because the soldiers who crucified HIM mocked HIS claim to being the King of the Jews.  They detested the Jews, who worshiped ONE GOD and refused to bow to the Roman pantheon of gods.  Their mockery of JESUS was as much a rail against the monotheistic, JEHOVAH-worshiping Jews as against the carpenter who claimed to be their long-awaited Messiah. 

When George Floyd died, he, a reformed criminal who had given his heart to JESUS, went straight to the arms of the LORD who died to save him.

Where will the looters and robbers be when their hour comes?

So, President Trump has the blame for the coronavirus and the blame for the George Floyd backlash placed at his doorstep.  But can this man, who has endeavored to treat all men and women justly through his long performance on the human stage be faulted for something the Chinese perhaps plotted to orchestrate his downfall or something one godless man did to a brother in CHRIST or what hordes of destroyers are doing to the life's work of a people?

And if blaming him is unjustified, if blaming him is part of the scheme to remove him from office, are you ready to go back to the kind of presidency that brought us into religious and financial loss?
