On the night of February 22, 2021, Joe Biden ordered that all flags be lowered to half staff immediately and remain at half-staff until sunset on Friday, February 26. Many state governors are following suit, to honor the more than 500,000 Americans who have died from #COVID19.
Perhaps the irony is lost upon some that this is the same Joe Biden who, with a stroke of his pen, denied thousands of Americans their jobs. How kind of Mr. Biden to honor the deceased. Too bad he cares so little for the well-being of the living.
We must certainly keep doing our part to protect those around us from this insidious virus, but wearing masks, social distancing, and getting vaccinated cannot shore up the breach that Biden’s policies have caused to the economic well-being of our nation.
The reality is that allowing the living to prosper and have a viable income is at least as important as flying the colors at half staff to honor the deceased.
