II Chronicles 7:14

 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14

LORD JESUS,

Touch the hearts of YOUR people, who are called by YOUR name to humble themselves before YOU in acknowledgement of the great sin into which our nation has fallen, in acknowledgement of the great sin into which each of us has fallen, and bring us to individual and corporate repentance.

We know YOU have taken all our sin to the cross and that YOU endured its awful penalty of death in YOUR own sinless body. Let us not turn our backs upon such mercy! Let us not disavail ourselves of YOUR sacrifice in our behalf.

JESUS, many who are called by YOUR name are praying for a "THIRD GREAT AWAKENING" in this land. May every believer fall on his or her knees before YOUR Throne of Mercy and Grace and cry out to YOU for a mighty move of YOUR HOLY SPIRIT that will bring revival to our spiritual deadness.

We give YOU all the praise and all the glory for the wonder of YOUR love and for the greatness of YOUR salvation.

Open our eyes to behold YOU, JESUS.

Open our ears to hear YOUR truth, JESUS.

Open our hearts to receive YOUR salvation.

Open our mouths to proclaim YOUR WORD.
