God’s put His angels in charge of guarding our ways
Battling so long on our knees with prayer and praise
The Lord is our strength shielding us under His wings
Blessings flow from all the good of loving Him brings.
God’s love reaches to anyone, the lost and the meek
Bright and priceless our future if it’s Him that we seek
Giving power to the faint, who will never grow tired
Prosper and shine like a star -- God-inspired.
Continue well-doing, we will not fail, He will be there
Victory is correcting the faults once we're aware
We're His beloved, in whom God is well pleased
Trusting His timing, our faith is increased.
The enemy fights us from many directions,
Knowing our value he attacks our imperfections,
But God provides all in each storm; He's our great defense
God is by our side; His Word is our strong confidence.
