Faithful

Abraham Lincoln's birthday is on February 12 and George Washington's birthday is on February 22.

We have lost the sense of celebration of these leaders--our sixteenth and our first presidents, so we clump them together on Presidents' Day.

But if we study the lives and the faith of these outstanding national heroes, we will discover that they were spiritual heroes as well. If we will emulate their patriotism and their devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our nation will be richer and stronger.

We as a people will rise up to the height that our time on our knees has taken us. May HE find us as HE found them--faithful.
