It isn't surprising that Dr. Carson is running for president in order to apply his intellect toward remedying the problems that plague our nation and our world.
It isn't surprising that in the cacophony of political debate and moral relativism, his quiet voice of reason is often shouted down by those who know far less, and whose goal is not to remedy the ills of the country but to aggrandize themselves.
What is surprising is that such a relatively small number of voters are
fully committed to supporting someone who has placed their well-being
above his own comfortable retirement.
