New Every Morning

The TRUE and LIVING and ETERNAL GOD says of HIMSELF that "HIS mercy is new every morning." Lamentations 3:22, 23

Mere mortals like ourselves are blessed to know the HOLY ONE does not hold our past sins against us. Once we have put our sins under the blood of JESUS, we are washed clean, we are new, we are robed in the cloak of HIS righteousness.

Though HE is quick to forgive us when we falter, we must be quick to turn away from the evil that besets us. When we are overtaken in a fault, our part is to confess our temptation and to be delivered from it before it becomes sin.

We will then be just before HIM and we will act justly before men. Because we love the mercy HE extends to us, we hold out that same mercy to others.

We walk humbly before our GOD because we know that of ourselves we are void of goodness, but with JESUS in our hearts we walk as HE walks.
