Trials and tribulations beset mankind. There often seems to be no remedy for the things that must be faced.
JESUS prepared HIS people for this eventuality, telling them that no matter what they had to endure in time, their eternal reward would render life's perplexities as of no consequence.
LORD JESUS, we ask YOU to help us to see life and its challenges as YOU
see them. Help us not to be intimidated by trouble but to know YOU
have given us the victory over it. Help us to walk in the power YOU say
is ours, for in that power is deliverance from every affliction and
overcoming for every challenge.
And if we don't see that deliverance and overcoming in time, help us to see with eyes of faith into the glorious place where trials shall be no more.
It is in YOUR mighty, matchless NAME we ask, and in YOUR wondrous promises we trust, JESUS. Amen.
