A PERSONAL STORY OF THE GLORY OF GOD
We lived in Saudi Arabia a number of years ago and during a phone call from family members, we learned that our sister-in-law's mother was dying of liver failure.
We were saddened at the news but went immediately to prayer in her behalf. I also jotted off a note to her, telling her that we were praying and expecting good news of her healing.
On the morning of the day the note arrived, her doctor had ordered her
death certificate to be filled in--except for the exact time of her
departure--for he was certain she would not live through the day.
When he made his evening rounds, he found her sitting up in bed, healthy color restored, and smiling at him with joyful anticipation of his delight in her much-improved condition.
In amazement he said incredulously, "What has happened to you?!"
She handed him the note and told him it had arrived that day...that upon its arrival, her condition had turned around.
A WORD OF FAITH, ROOTED IN THE WORD OF THE LORD, MUST HAVE AN IMPACT FOR GOOD UPON ALL CIRCUMSTANCES IN QUESTION.
NEVER DOUBT THE POWER OF THE CHRIST YOU LOVE AND SERVE TO "CAUSE ALL THINGS TO WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM."
JESUS IS FAITHFUL!
