A LOT of winning teams have come out of "the Burgh," and a lot of super athletes have emerged from the small steel towns surrounding it.
A lot of boys realized that their way out of the steel mills would be through athletics or education.
Athletics and education are still tickets to success...the first eludes many but the second is available to anyone who is willing to work hard and study diligently in school.
May a younger generation be inspired.

before the game was over. He did these interviews without knowing that
it had been Mazeroski who had hit the game winning home run.
